I found this lovely portrait by Hogarth in this book: And here is her thumbnail biography: To put her income in perspective, a Royal Navy Captain made 100 pounds a month. Why don't we hear more about women like these in school? I think Granado's Anne would make an excellent portrait of Miss Edwards.
