These are resin horns that glyndarling made and cast and polished, mostly to sell at Dollism, but with a few for people who whined and drooled for them :D. They are so cute-- and the method of attaching them is brilliant--they have the usual neodymium magnet inside the horn itself, but the opposite one is a little slim one that fits under a wig, so anyone can wear them! So much easier than putting magnets in a doll and no glueing them upside down. :o Here's Cherie in them as well:

Yes, Addiction Stella, in Light Brown... ... is sitting at the airport in Seoul, waiting to board; meanwhile I am here trying to get her some things sewed up. My fit model, Cherie, says "These aren't for me?" But the next set of that caftan ( qaftān ) looking thing will be better, because I have figured out how to measure the collar (I filled in this one because it will stay up without a coin bra/supplemental top under it, and it just looks more "wearable" to me this way than the more open-necked version). I'll also finish that inner sleeve seam on the next one. I still need to make the jacket and the skirt wrap, a necklace and a headdress. My Iplehouse Cherie (imaginatively named Cherie) finally has her own body, courtesy of Jo1961 and her small-bust Ashanti, who is now a Ashanti/Dollshe combo (it looks great ). This means that Cherie now needs clothes that fit her, so I broke down and ordered her the Signorina Set from Iplehouse, figuring if it didn't fit her, my NYID Bianca could wear it, since Bianca is one size smaller. It's also very cute. So it came yesterday; and this morning I unpacked it and tried it on Cherie. It's more of a dusty pink than a pink pink, which I liked. The corset top is tight--there is no need to have doll corsets tight, because they aren't going to get any thinner no matter how you squeeze them, and it's unnecessary strain on the grommets and fasteners. Also this corset doesn't have a cheat of velcro or a zipper--you have to lace it, which means that as an owner you need to be under 40 or have good glasses and steady fingers. However, the panties fit perfectly, and...

I finally sold the hoofed body this Cherie head was on, and put her on her own native SID body--I have a rule that if a year goes by and a doll hasn't gotten new clothes or some little item (fitting clothes around the hooves was giving me a bit of a problem), it's time to move the doll along to someone who will use it-- Layn is planning on making the body into a Draenai from WOW, which will be awesomely cool. Cherie's faceup is by Nanyalin , and I am hoping by making her into a mermaid, I will be immune to whatever Iplehouse is cooking up for their mermaid. :o

First of all, I received my Iplehouse Cherie head from Spain today. Nanyalin did her faceup and shipped her to me before she went off to the LDoll festival to debut her own line of dolls, so I was pretty excited. Cherie is not a "realistic" sculpt particularily--she looks like a doll, and so she was perfect to finally make Headless Merry into Merry Cherie. She is also extremely cute, and will be fun to load up with ribbons and flowers. It was also Fish Moving Day 2. The koi had gotten far too large for my bathtub sized pond (the biggest one was approaching 12 inches) and I was worried that soon small koi would appear. But Tony the Contractor has his own pond liner in, the waterfall and some extra bubblers and pumps ready, and rocks set up to foil raccoons, so yesterday he came and netted the fish and carried them away in buckets. He already has over a 100 fish of various types in tanks around his house so he was quite skillful at netting them, though the biggest koi was a...
