Some cool resin eyes made by Lynn Corr--these were experiments, but there will be more to follow. The gold ones are cast metal, and look very cool even without the iris inserts. I forgot my camera at the monthly Mitsuwa meetup, But Akutenshi kindly took some photos instead: See that backpack in the middle? It was STUFFED with toys..like..an unbelievable, hilarious amount of tiny toys. That wig is yarn, not alpaca--yarn that was combed and combed and combed to pull out all the loose fibers. The end result is very shiny! This girl's outfit is so pretty--I like how shy she looks! This is an etherial Island Doll Noah, on a tenshi body--it's a very posable body and the hands are beautiful. I also like his otherworldly eyes. I did clean some things and ship a doll, but otherwise I wasn't too productive today.

Yes, it's June and I can now put my own fruit on my cereal. The garden got a slow start this year because of snow in April (cranky face), but now it seems to be making up for lost time. Yesterday a very small group of us got together at Mitsuwa, probably because it was a glorious day outside and people were doing other things, but we had fun anyway. Akutenshi brought Dr. Cameo (A Luts Chloe) in her splendid steampunk sari, and did I take a photo of her in her outfit? No, just a detail of the beading: Luckily, I remembered that Akutenshi sent me a photo that she took of Dr. Cameo's outfit from the front (and her cute little face--she is a Luts Chloe) There was a Sailor Moon Dollfie Dream there, in her fullset: Little adorable Yuri on Ice guys: (You can see in the background that Mitsuwa is no longer peeling paint and green and purple light--it's very nice now!) I really loved this pair--the tan guy is home-dyed to the most gorgeous caramel ...

The Mitsuwa meet-up had lots of people--so many that I missed some latecomers, as J and I don't stay late. (J has only so much patience with doll foolery, though he doesn't mind doing a couple of hours poking around Mitsuwa itself). This is a Dollzone planthro, I think one of the event dolls, and would come up to the knee of one of my dolls. Who knew a little flower could be so cute? And speaking of cute, here is another tiny person--look at her compared to the foot on the right. And yes, there was a Tiny Aileen Dragon doll, the baby for the regular-sized dragon: And there was a Tiny Rachel, who Rachel said that everyone called this cutie "Rayray" (I don't remember her actual mold, perhaps a Doll Family girl?) I wish this photo below was better, the doll in the center is a tan Linlan, which is pretty rare--Dollzone quit making tan dolls and Linlan wasn't very common to begin with.
