Isa and the Goblin Market, and yet another Snake

Image
I did a lot of yard work today (mostly weeding) and then added some sparkles and lashes to my Deesse 2 head (Sicktress sculpted her) She is temporarily on the larger Resinsoul Lian body, but the neck is a little thin and the body proportions over all aren't quite right. Her head is really big, a 9/10. I'd really like a Impldoll Idol in gray for her, but it will have to wait until other things are paid off. Also she needs a white/silver wig, since her eyebrows and lashes are white. She is so much fun to work with, though--I might just borrow Danu's body for a template and make her some clothes. I did spend 20.00 for some 3d printed doll-sized horns from Goblin Market Studio , on etsy.  They were inexpensive because they are still unsanded direct from the printer, so it is up to the buyer to smooth them and primer them. I am not sure who gets the horns yet, but I will figure that out once they get here. Goblin Market also makes human-sized cosplay horns and ears, t...

Heel Feet and Horns

Image
Angell Studio has a lot more than cute dolls--they keep a lot of the props and costumes available even after the limited dolls themselves are no longer on sale. Because the EMS is high, they recommend you choose several items to ship, but of course that makes your order take a bit longer if they need to cast things. Here is the Accessory page . They also have loose heads! Sadly not the one I want, the adorably derpy Dora Christina (I want to put her on a larger body, if possible) Are you missing heel feet? For most girls, except for Iplehouse or Impl (who both have larger feet) you can use the AS heel feet . (they come in basically Normal Yellow and Normal Pink, though the names are different. There is also a 62 cm size that might work for larger dolls. Broke a hand? AS has you covered . There are graceful male hands that might work for larger female dolls, too. And they have horns! They are buried in the listing of what comes with the limited dolls, but they seem to ...

The Horns Tried On

They match her hands perfectly! Also they can be moved around--the magnets are under the wig. From Blue Otter Paradise on etsy.

How I Watched Thursday's Eclipse

Image
I was a slacker and looked at it on HuffPo. Partly it was because we have so many trees the sun was below the treeline at 5:45, and I couldn't get much with my pinhole camera between the leaves and the angle. Today I had an exciting day washing windows and raking leaves, though I did glue in the magnets into my new Blue Otter Paradise horns . You can see here that Mr. Flocked Spider is once more being awesomely helpful:

Tiny Horns

Image
These are resin horns that glyndarling made and cast and polished, mostly to sell at Dollism, but with a few for people who whined and drooled for them :D. They are so cute-- and the method of attaching them is brilliant--they have the usual neodymium magnet inside the horn itself, but the opposite one is a little slim one that fits under a wig, so anyone can wear them! So much easier than putting magnets in a doll and no glueing them upside down. :o Here's Cherie in them as well:
