I discovered that I had a perfectly good, extra Maiden body when I was cleaning the basement this week--it is a peachy NS, and slightly loose in the legs. I am going to list it on Den of Angels tomorrow for around 300.00, shipped. It comes with heel legs, certificate and the original box! The body fits smaller heads, Elfdolls, the newer Soom heads like Odette, and probably Peakswood girls as well (I seem to remember they have small heads). Here is the body in her box: I should probably sell some other things but it's not easy to decide who should move on. :p

Yes, it's Gitana no 2... though I supposedly got her so that Dierdre, my Granado Fayette, could have a Small Bust Nuevo body--for some reason the Small Bust has a slightly larger neck than the conventional Nuevo, so the proportions work better with the Fayette head.  I was going to dig out the spare Large Bust Nuevo body I have to put the new Gitana on it, but since Dierdre's Maiden body was right there, I put the Gitana head on that one instead, and it looks pretty good! The neck does gap because the Gitana head is the Guilem twin, so it's got a old "man sized" neck hole. The previous owner modded her chin a little, and she did a wonderful, smooth job with it; so the daintier body looks good with the more feminine head. (I had tried Gitana no 1 on the Maiden and wasn't satisfied with the look, as Sophronia is a big actress/ opera singer and needed a bigger body. And Sophie still has the original big chin :). There is still snow on the ground, but it may be gone by this afternoon--it's going to get warmer in the next few days. The ground is squishy wet, too, so I am hoping we don't get any big rainstorms in the next month; that is how we got the flooding in April of 2013. Our house is built into a hill, so we don't have problems with standing water so much as the basement sump well filling up and making the pump run continously. If the pump failed, the most likely thing would be that we would have a stream running out our garage, which is undesirable... but preferable to a basement full of water. Everything but the laundry down there is in tupperware containers, too. Violetta (a Luts Juri07 B) has inherited the Granado Maiden body, and it's perfect for her small face. Granado has done a bit of tweaking inside the Maiden body to get her knees to come together in sitting poses; as you can see in the photos of my own first generation Maiden body, she sits with her legs apart . It didn't bother me, and I would have kept using this body as my Sidonia's body if Soom hadn't reissued the Cyborg body in the last event. So now I am really interested in the new Maiden body just to see what they did to change it, and they are also offering a third version that has a hip joint, to make it as posable as the Lads body. So now I am eyeing everyone here, wondering if someone needs a body upgrade. Hmm.

She's a really nicely balanced little body, and stood up right out of the box. Stability and balance seemed to be what Crocus Lee really wanted in this pretty body! Look at the heel feet--no ankles to slip! She can still move her feet apart about the same as the Nuevo body: She sits well, too--no falling over backwards! She is a little smaller than the Nuevo body: She is closer to a Delf size, but bigger than an Elfdoll: And yes, that is the Granado faceplate--looks weird but makes dressing and putting in eyes (and positioning eyes) much, much easier. Gitana (Sophie's) head is actually too big, IMO, for the Maiden body: But the Sidonia head looks great! Always a problem with these dolls--they already have more clothes than I do, but still want more ;)
