It's summer, the Yuan is very low compared to the USD, and Loongsoul has a handful of pretty dolls, some new, some discounted. Jiao Mu Jiao is just a pretty Spring themed girl, 58 cm tall, a nice manageable size; then there is a fantasy Fairy Deer : She is taller, one of the 69 cm Grace series. Over at Souldoll they have begun the discontinued Head Event , so if you want any of these peeps, order now: There are some Tinies as well, you will have to go see for yourself. It's kind of overwhelming!

He's at Alices Collections and he has such a great faceup! Well, not to mention wig and fullset and yes, that tall Loongsoul body. Here's a closeup of his face: Alices might have leftover slots for him--his official order period ended yesterday, so you can't buy his wig or clothes from them, but you can still order the basic version--this is what is included: I need to get better at painting faces....

Happy Chinese New Year! It's the year of the Dog, and Loongsoul is offering some specials, including this very...different...Piggy Fish . He is a Loongsoul boy and he might be a lucky money toad...or maybe a lucky money newt..for some reason I think he is the cutest little frog (?) boy ever, with his little chibi kaiju friend. He does have a name: Jin Chan-Shine. I am guessing he is not a lucky fish because of the webbed toes, but otherwise his taxonomy is mysterious. :D If you want to check him out more, visit the Loongsoul Limited page at Alices' Collections. Alice's is lovely to buy from--everything is slow, but it does come and they are sweet and easy to deal with (I always get the shipping wrong when I fill out their order page, and instead of telling me I ride the short bus, they send a friendly email telling me what I still owe them ;) They are also still doing pre-orders for Loongsoul dolls, which can have Dollshe-like waits (up to almost a year). Ilsonya spotted this as part of the Hong Kong Dollism show's Loongsoul exhibit...alas, I am now buying a Chinatown apartment in Philadelphia instead of dolls; though I can consider the apartment a "dollhouse" for my 1/1 scale K (with great mohair wig) :D But the Sea Dragon/Merman is wonderful.
