New Iplehouse Auction
Some nice Iplehouse men are up at auction (you need to be logged in to bid). There is a Tiny Lawrence, a Big Falcon and an EID Leonard (probably my personal favorite of the set.) Then there is Lev. Well, I guess there is someone for everyone. ;) You probably won't have to fight to get him.
Iplehouse's Current Auction
It's a pretty good batch! The Marien is particularily nice, she has the special body with the engraved "tattoo", and that SID body is so pretty. Doria and I never really warmed up to each other, but she is beautiful! Akutenshi won one of the previous auctions! She got a Leonard and he is just gorgeous "at home"--and she saved a bundle. A good thing, because he now needs clothes ;) I have been distracted from dollies--the dishwasher has joined the general plumbing dysfunction and will need to be replaced..eventually. I still need to pay off the plumber from our New Year's Exploding Pipe Party. :o I can't complain though--Cat in Long Island was boiling snow to get coffee--they are all iced up.
Auction Iplehouse Grace, and Souldoll Hae-Bin
She's light brown , she has some casting spots in the brown, but she is at the starting bid quite a bit cheaper than the "Doll Choice" version of herself. She is the standard SID size. There is the usual rack of four dolls up on the front page if you want to check them out; I just happen to like Grace here. I also checked on Souldoll--they are discontinuing some dolls, so if you have a wishlist it would be a good idea to go check their front page; you can order until the 31st (Korean time, so in the US that means "tomorrow") As well as discontinuing some people, Souldoll has added a few more. Here is a new Zenith doll that looks like a real person to me: Isn't Hae-Bin pretty ? She has such a good faceup, too.
A Fantasy Soo for Auction
Iplehouse has auctions regularily now--I used to think they were cancelled orders, but I am not sure--they seem to have a steady supply of auction dolls, so maybe some of them are ones with small flaws, bubbles and marks--Iplehouse always declares these flaws in the auction. The start prices seem to vary a lot too, so I am not sure how they decide whether to start an auction at zero, 300.00 or 600.00 dollars. I do try to check when I think of it--there are a couple more girls I would like to get and I would much rather pay 300 than 700 for them. The auction dolls often have unusual faceups, too--I think those are ones that are cancelled orders. This faceup is particularily wonderful! I always forget that you can ask for a custom face, as Iplehouse does gorgeous default faceups. Soo's auction is at around 350.00 as of today , which is a steal for a nice doll and that glorious face art! She is an L bust and has the mobility thigh.
