DollZone Twilight at Denver Doll

Image
I'm not usually smitten with DollZone Dolls, but this one is so lovely. She is msd sized and nearly 900.00 dollars, BUT it looks like she is in stock at Denver Dolls, so you can get her without much of a wait. Here is the link if you would like to check her out: https://www.denverdoll.com/product/twilight-full-set-white-skin/ The only warning I have for her is I got Akutenshi the much for affordable Lillian, who has similar slender, long legs, and I'm pretty sure you will either need a custom stand or do some wiring to make her stand reliably (especially with those gorgeous wings)

Iplehouse SID Vera At Home!

Image
And the box! I didn't bother with taking a photo of the outer box; and I was a little peeved that it was big enough for two dolls so Vera flopped around inside of it. I also paid extra for the air gap. :p But here was what was inside :D: Paper! SQUEE HER FACE IS PERFECT! In person her lips are not as bright, the camera wants to saturate that red. She is Normal Skin (which is super pale). That is the new, slimmer SID (Senior Iplehouse Doll) body, with new knees and elbows. I have to say I like both a lot, both for aesthetics and for posing!  She is the Small Bust. My biggest worry was that her head would "sit" on top of her neck, because the head is an NYID head and the neckhole (I thought) would be smaller than the SID neck. Happily, I was wrong! She fits perfectly and has a great range of motion. As a side note I like her default Glib eyes. If you order a doll in the winter and it gets cold, those eyes will crack. Ordering in July/August seems to be a sa...

Fairyland Rens the Cute Harpy

Image
Apparently Harpies have fab shoes:D They also have birdie feet, if you get the full fantasy option. The page to check her out at Denver Doll is here: http://www.denverdoll.com/fairylandfairylinefullpack.php She is more or less msd size, and very sweet for a Harpy: The little mask is neat! I kind of want to make one now.

Altis the Faun

Image
Look at this cutie! His infos were sent to my by Akutenshi, as well as his sale link at the Denver Doll Emporium  ! There are only 150 sets of him if you want the very cool faun legs, but he also has a nice human version: ...which also is limited to 150 sets. If you order the Faun Fullset you have the option of Tan, but whew, add the special color to the faceup and you are over 1000.00 He's very nice, though! maybe if you had the space to dress him up and keep him in a case, like a Faberge egg?

Seian arrives!

Image
She's here! UPS showed up at a reasonable time and the box was in perfect shape! This was my first somewhat-new-from-Fairyland purchase (though it was actually "in stock" at Denver Doll, so she might have been a return or a failed layaway). I was interested to see how she was packed. I had bought a Chloe before from someone on DoA who sends things out "factory fresh" so I was pleased to see that it was the same--outer ship box, inner blue shipping box, and promo cards! I found Denver Doll's layaway super easy to work with--they send reminders on the same day of the month, so my fear of forgetting to pay an installment were unfounded--and they were very good about answering questions! I remember when Fairyland used to just send the dolls with the "use and care" pamphlet--now they have a nice certificate: Fairyland now sells headbacks as a separate item, so the headback doesn't have the mold name on it. Instead the faceplate has the n...

Ria, Temptation of Phoenix

Image
Bird Feets! To be honest, I like the bird feet-- but I would get her for her pretty face as a Basic. I'm finding as much as I like the fantasy parts, I end up using the human parts instead because the clothes are more fun for me--and fantasy feet mean pants are not happening, nor are fun shoes. I do love the bird skull tiara thing, though! You can get her direct from Fairyland or through Denver Doll , which I think makes the shipping cheaper if you are in the US, but also makes the orders a little slower as Denver Doll bundles the order, and then Fairyland casts the order, with all it's divergent parts, and 5 months later sends the bundle back to DD to redistribute. More photos: SO pretty! I just love Fairyland heads.

Alicia Seahorse

Image
It's the Fairyland Halloween event! I linked to Denver Doll because I am here in the US, but she is at Fairyland Central as well :D  Alicia is as cute as a bug's ear, and Minifee sized, but of course there is a problem: Alicia Full Option Package $987 LE FairyLine Girl human body (Large BustF + with both Flat Feet AND Heel Feet) + #3 hands, Premium eyes, Alicia Head, Makeup, Wig (Mohair) (6~7inch), Outfit, Resin Shoes (Clear Brown - unpainted), Pair of Swords (Clear Smoke - unpainted), Ear Fins (Chosen Clear colour - unpainted), Seahorse Parts (Chosen Clear colour - unpainted)**, Crystal Skull (Clear - unpainted) **.  Seahorse side fins are only available in transparent resin no matter what choice of seahorse parts colour may be. Fairyland Sylvia

Image
Whee! A bjd video (with a bit of shaky focus) from CP/Fairyland. She is 900.00, so out of my league, but I love her outfit, and if you want to sell a kidney, you can buy her through Denver Dol l, or through Dolk Station  . Limited to 120, there is also a Basic Version Nude Doll for less. If you look at the Dolk link there are a ton of photos; she has two bust options, A Normal Bust and a Corset Bust (!) and the price includes all the stuff. She is my favorite size, the 65 centimeter Feeple size, with unique hands. This is the same body that is under Chloe and Sian if you are trying to picture the size. It looks like you might get a smoky-clear sword as an omake as part of Fairyland's Summer Event, but you need to read the fine print to see if it applies to Sylvia. I think it does, if you order over 800.00 (see below). If you order less there are some heads, but I hate small loose heads so I wasn't really paying attention. More Sylvia outfit: On that same...

The Impldoll Idol Muscle Girl Arrives!

Image
I took only a few pictures tonight, but I will take more tomorrow, as I know Chalyss is interested in this body too. I ordered through Denver Doll, and though it took about 4 months, the box came with nice packaging and a certificate! Of course there was a broken finger..I swear it is a feature on my Impl girls, so I just got the Superglue and glued it back on. These hands are smaller and more proportionate that the first Idol hands, too--I had planned to get her jointed hands but now I can wait for a while as I like these. It's a nice sculpt! The knees are a little stiff but her ankles are fine and she can sit, which makes me happy. Her torso joint is kind of immobile but for my Deesse2 head it won't be a big deal, as she will be a snow giant. I painted all day and spackled and sanded so I am off to bed now!

Fairyland Minifee Moe Body Sizes, photos

Image
This fact sheet is from Denver Doll Emporium, and for some reason their pictures work for me today, while Fairyland's are broken. Go here to see photos of the Moe body, and the heads that you can buy a la carte (with photos as well): http://www.denverdoll.com/fairylandmfalacartemoegirl.php Denver doll is also now carrying some really cute Korean-made clothes that FIT these little rascals. Also the Glamor Bust is smaller than the Full Bust on the Moe body, which is backwards from some other companies. If you live in the US, Denver Doll is awesome to order from...and you can order extra Minifee hands from them, both hook and magnet styles. Here are the Fairyland blog posts again of the Moe body, which is indeed a little shorter than the old MNF body: http://dollfairyland.tistory.com/132
