Baby Iplehouse Doll in Person

Image
Well, I had a rule about "no tinies". And now I have three, though one is just a head so far. This is an Iplehouse Bonnie, and she is as cute as a bug :D I am used to getting giant boxes from Iplehouse, so this was a nice change: The truth is that they could have shipped her in a box 1/2 as tall--look inside: The actual BID box is quite reasonable--you could fit it in a suitcase if you wanted to do a ambitious, faraway photo shoot: Like most tiny dolls, Bonnie is a superb stander: I thought I was being prudent in buying tights, a shirt and a wig so she would have something right away to wear, unlike all the other naked people here right now, but things didn't quite work out that way. The wig was beautiful and well made, but it looked a little..I don't know, like it belonged on a teenager and not a baby? (This was on me for choosing it, not Iplehouse). However, I remembered that the Souldoll Vito Freya wears a size 6 wig--maybe they could swap? ...

A Minifee, A Souldoll Vito, and a Soom Super Gem Sit on a Table

Image
This is just to give you an idea how small the Vito is--it is Souldoll's version of the Fashion Iplehouse Dolls. She's wearing a YoSD wig intended for my Teeny Gem! I was able to get Freya at a good price, but if I had ordered her directly from Souldoll I would have gotten the larger bust, just to bulk her up to at least Minifee size :D  Willow is a standard Minifee--not sure if she is an A line or b line, and Nikkal is a Souldoll Shiva head on a Soom 2012 Super Gem body. She is a standard SD size, smaller than the big Loongsoul girls or the Iplehouse HID girls. In my summer attempt to Get All the Dolls I wanted in 2007 (the list is short) here is the darling Luts Senior Delf Annette waiting to be taken home: (Faceup is by Just Katie) The seller is someone I like very much,so it was a pleasure to buy from her (Christina_Xx). I thought I would have to wait and save up for a body for her, but to my delight she fits well on the old Dollmore body I had in storage! I ...

The (Barely) Blue Boy

Image
This is the dyed Impldoll body that I bought from FirecrackerSparks , and it's a good body--it's strung well and has no bad habits as far as I can tell, besides the usual problem of slippery bare feets (socks fix this). Originally he was orange, probably pretty close to the peach color of the Antares head I plan to put on it, but the blue dye dip greyed him out a little to a pleasant tan with some bluish areas. If you look closely you can see the blue around the joint cuts, since the edges took the dye a bit more. I have no idea what color he was originally--maybe the UV resistant normal? I'd have to pull him apart to check, and I'd rather not since his stringing is pretty ideal. The body doesn't match the head, but there will be tattoos and things to bridge the visual gap, and he will be fun to paint. I did other things today--you can buy 4 foot LED bulbs to swap out conventional fluorescent tubes, at a fraction of the wattage, so I did that for a bas...
