Mitsuwa and a Proto-Pumpkin

Image
It was a small group this time, but so fun (It's actually easier with less people, as the space we can use is sort of limited). This is an Oasisdoll Nathalie, which I had never seen in person before--she's just gorgeous! Lots more: Some very pretty boy (that is his default faceup) maybe Loongsoul or Ringdoll (I was told the name, did I write it down? No, and probably that was just as well, I like him a lot. A Dollfie Dream girl in her fullset, and a very shy Volks boy--I want to say he is a Shiro, but I am often led astray by the fact I learned the Volks molds from JennieNemesis, so I tend to call the Volks dolls by her names and not the factory ones :o A 60 cm Dollzone Mo (not the msd sized one) and after some though,t I think this is a Dollzone BBJing. He's definitely one of the 2009 ish small Dollzone kids, and he's cute as a button. A bespectacled Unoa and a Minifee (I think) next to her, and a gorgeous Vanessa head in the back--my photo of Vanessa...

Mitsuwa Meetup March 19

Image
Yes, it's a Doll Chateau snail, I think the mold is named..."Larry". This one is a girl and it's owner was busy knitting it the Worlds Tiniest bra top, about the size for a kilt for a fly. Here's another pic: Best of all that shell comes off to reveal a slug like cutie body underneath it! hehe! Gherkin came to visit, and brought her winged Bory; the wings are done with Rub n Buff and it seems to work perfectly: I think these were hers too: I was totally charmed by these two resinsoul cuties--a ghost girl, so delicate and pretty, and a merman (!) Akutenshi's Dollshe Aramis came back with a glorious faceup and also got a haircut as part of the new look: (The "Tube thing" in front of him is an long-arm doll stand.) It was a fun afternoon!

Mitsuwa Meet-up, Feb 20th

Image
I left before a lot of people came, so I don't have a ton of photos--but the dolls that were there were very nice--look at this glamorous Switch boy! Here is Akutenshi's Mr. Bun (Soom Northerly Breeze), in a new outfit from Mandarake: And the back: And a Hypermaniac girl that Rachel found at the Naperville Doll Show, now all cleaned, wigged and dressed: I think this is a little Soom bunny girl: Hmm, now that I look at her I am not sure--maybe Akutenshi will know...anyway, here is a small Chiwoo: His friend a Fairyland Shiwoo and a Little Fee of some kind: (I would totally fail a small doll quiz; I can identify Volks Yos because they have their own style, but otherwise I am mystified..but here are two Yo-sds--they are adorable, I wish the photo wasn't blurry: Finally a Bluefairy boy, maybe a Louis? He was really nice to hold, a good weight and well balanced and very appealing in person! As for Mitsuwa food, the place that sold bubble tea is gone; but there is a wond...

December Mitsuwa and Lovetacular (again)

Image
I think this was Marceline's Fairyland Chloe at the December Mitsuwa meetup--Marceline also gave everyone wonderful little doll-sized gifts, in my case a little ceramic mug the perfect size for my SID Bryan--it was so nice of her and of course I hadn't come with much of anything, including dolls, because we had a lot of other holiday stuff going on. She also had a smaller Fairyland guy and a artist's doll from an Australian artist. I wrote down the name on a scrap of paper and of course now I can't find it. Here's a gorgeous Galena who comes to Mitsuwa now and then: December seems a long time ago already; though it was just this morning that I took down all the Christmas ornaments off of the tree and took the bare tree down to the street, where it mysteriously disappeared after 15 minutes..someone wanted firewood? A tree for Orthodox Christmas? I have no idea. Target thinks it's time for everyone to start thinking of Valentine's Day: They have your cho...

Mitsuwa in June, and a Toad

Image
Yes, that is a Dollshe Grant Phillippe, cast up in the Elf Green. He is much larger than I thought he'd be, and he's dressed in paper leaves (outfit by Rachel, who did the dress for Marguerite a few posts back). He looks fabulous! The same person who owns Phillippe also has a Volks Yukinojo, beautifully dressed in Dollheart (he said that he got the full outfit by chance from getting a couple of Dollheart's fukuburu). I always think of this mold as an "Adrian" from JennyNemesis' Adrian :D Here's some of Akutenshi7's crew, looking cute-- from left to right, her raver dryad, a Fairyland Minifee Luka; an Angell-Studio Cassie and a little matching kaiju critter; a Soom Thera; and a Dream of Doll cutie with Soom hooves. This was probably the best photo I took all day because I spent the rest of the time socializing instead of taking photos of everyone, and I also got a lot of blurry ones this time for some reason, including this one, which should have be...

Mitsuwa in April

Image
It was the Mitsuwa meetup again! This cutie belongs to Starpunzel , and she knitted Mina's little sweater; so cute! (Mina is a Soulkid Harang; those little souldolls are so sweet). Then there was Elaine's Unoa/Minifee girl and her Little Monica Audrey (haha my notes are almost indecipherable, but Audrey's little friend is a tan Bambicrony with a super cute wig.) Then there is Akutenshi7's Soom Grey--first by himself: and then on the new Volks Couch with a Minifee and a Doll Leaves Maya: A taobao Easter bunny! Then Melli the levitating Adamelli: And here safely back on the table, with a little DollHeart dress: Then there is one of Gherkin's daughter's girls, with a new kimono dress: Rachel's two Volks girls in new dresses made by Rachel herself: They had two pukisha at their feet (I think those are what those kitties are): Then an adorable Customhouse guy, who belongs to Itsamootpoint with one of a kind ears and a winning little smile: And finall...
