  So here is Anne on a Senior Iplehouse body. Granado made her a male-sized, switchable head as "Anne" or "Andy", so she has been a challenge to put on a big enough girl body. Her own Granado body has a fairly short neck, which isn't flattering to her square jaw.  I found this SID body on the Den of Angels MP at a discount because it has a manufacturing flaw in the arm--I think maybe it was an auction body? I was hoping that Anne's oversize neckhole (meant to fit on a boy body) would let her head sit on the oversize Iplehouse neck BUT NO I had to actually saw a centimeter off the neck and then grind it down so that her head would both fit and move on the new neck. It was not a fun process, but I am very happy with the new combo here--the SID shoulders are wide enough and the resin is a good color match. I still need to find her more appropriate jointed fingers--those are Granado boy hands, and they are a bit square and veiny, but again the color is decent. T...

Almost half as tall as I am :). That is a Soom Elf Sabik that I got in a trade with a local collector, and he was one of the best things I have ever gotten in a trade! He's a decent poser, too, if you are patient. Boots help too, to support his ankles. I need to wire his arms, but his legs have been no problem, and he sits well too. Here he is with a Resinsoul Long body: And here he is with a Dollzone 72 body (I think it was a Hong body when Hong was new): Here he is with an Impldoll Idol (72cm). The Idol has a much bigger neck. Almost all his height is in his legs, sitting down he works fine with other dolls: I should really put him back in his "own" shirt--but that shirt that aernath made makes me laugh so much I haven't had the heart to change it.

She's the result of some doll churning, and I am happy to have gotten her for a very good price, though I feel a bit guilty about it, and also because I wiped the very professional faceup she came with to put my own on. Her head is fairly small, Elfdoll size, and my Bad Fairy says that she would look awesome on the new Granado Maiden body. This would require sacrificing someone else, though, and I am not sure I am ready to do that yet. Soom, in other news, is the master of the Stealth Release, and there is going to be "Jethro the Giant" which sounds a bit like they looked at Granado's Nico and decided to try a big guy themselves, and make it original by adding horns. (I just updated the link to his sales page, he's a Mega Gem, big but not Nico-sized. And he does have fun fantasy parts, big old hooves. Mostly I like his yellow eyes and outfit.)
