The heads are not Soom--I think the Soom male body here is the newer one but not the 2016 body, because his ankles are bigger than the slimmer 2016. He is 68 cm tall with an IOS G head.  She is 64 cm tall with a Souldoll Shiva head, and I am not quite confident of the size because Ashley (Soom Snow White) is 62cm without her HUGE wig :D I think it's because the Shiva head is both larger and the head sits on top of the neck, instead of having it fit inside the head. I had an new Ebay outfit for her that I think Beachgirlnikita made originally--it was from an estate sale and I couldn't just let it sit there, and it was so perfect for Ashley..and inexpensive! Souldoll Shiva Knitting wizard Girrl has knit several items for me in the past, and this time I have 4 wonderful little hats from her! I had plans for who was supposed to get the hats, and of course then the dolls themselves had no use for my plans. This is why a Mesopotamian reed goddess is up there looking adorable in a little knit cap. I guess it makes sense if you are living in Chicago in the fall. Below is Android Mei, who apparently is a supporter of human rights even though she isn't completely human--she has a tiny Pussy Hat. It's actually a nice pink but the photo is a bit dark. Akutenshi made me a couple of new mohair wigs, and I wanted to take a few pictures of Nikki in her new soft brown wig, which meant going outside. We have flowers, birds, and things coming up: I think those are bluebells, I need to look them up--I did not plant them, they just volunteered :D Here is Nikki's wig up close (I added some braids to keep the wind from blowing her hair in her face): The wig is so soft!  I didn't stay out long because the wind was cold--you can tell by looking at this chipmunk that it's still chilly out: But we have daffodils!

Souldoll Shiva I finally got a face on her, since it was 50+ degrees on Sunday, and briefly sunny! I still want to henna her hands, but that might have to wait for later. I also made her a bead necklace and I need to find her a second, "not quite as long" wig, since this one is constantly grabbing everything near it, even though it is a splendid wig!

This lady was originally Miss Ally's, and when Miss Ally sadly passed away, Gus took her in; then Cat adopted her from Gus, and now she has come to live here -- instead of me ordering a new one from Souldoll. I like having someone that was at Miss Ally's--she was a fun person and had fabulous taste in dolls. Cat sent her with some beautiful extras: jewelry and a splendid wig and eyes, so all I need to do is give her a face,(Which will be a little nerve-wracking, but if it doesn't come out I can always send her to Angel Toast/Elisa Maza), and make her clothes! I tried to take some photos of the joints since the new release is supposed to have the original double-jointed body. Yes, she is back at Souldoll and if you are brave, you can order her with the 4 arms instead of the default two--AND she comes in novelty blue and saffron orange. I'm interested in the saffron-- but I would need to see it cast up before I would commit 900.00(which includes the helmet, wig and makeup and 4 arms) to a doll. On the other hand, Souldoll has made the deal even sweeter by offering most of the older Zenith heads as options, including the beautiful Chantal 1. Here is the option list: (Click to enlarge) So you can get your Swinte or Jina or Uha in a fun color with 4 arms, if you so desire. You can get the signature helmet, but only in white resin. I really am out of room, or I would put her on layaway--I love those extra arms, but she would need her own space to sit it and I don't have it. Ideally she should have a freestanding case with a low UV light. There doesn't seem to be a option to buy the outfit, but I haven't really had time to search around t...

Iplehouse is forcing everyone else to bring their "A" game to the Christmas season--here Shiva has not only turned a lovely tan color but has found an amazing dress to go with her new skin color. (I swear Souldoll is built on the back of a fabric/trim manufacturer). That is a fabulous dress even for Souldoll. And then I found that Kowalski has all his promo pictures up now: The name cracks me up, he sounds like he works at my local Post Office, and those extra arms would come in handy. Remember if you are interested in him that he is a small guy; my Migma could rest her elbow on his head, so keep that in mind if you want to put him with say, Ringdoll's Frankenstein, who is tall. It would be important to buy the clothing along with Mr. Kowalski, too, since where else are you going to get six matching gauntlets-with-medallion-knives?

A long time ago I had a regular Souldoll, one of the 50-something cm girls, and though I loved the body, I did not love the heads I had on that body. So I just gave up on Souldoll--they don't come on the Marketplace all that often, they are no good for hybrids, and they are expensive (This is also why you never see the Mother of All the Ball Jointed Dolls, Volks, in my collection--too expensive; though I love their SD16 girl bodies--which cost 700.00 USD.. used... with no head.) So until last week, Souldoll was a "no go" zone. Then last week I was updating my sales thread in the Marketplace, and saw this listing for a "Souldoll Paratiisi", and I was "a Souldoll ..what?"
