So this was my Granado Jaden, awkwardly placed on a Euclase body with bird feet because his head was much too large for the body I had waiting for him (an old Impl Star man body, which unlike the new Star bodies, is fairly small. Jaden, while a gorgeous head, is not a small head. So I found him a new home in Wales with a customizer and artist ( SilverEyedPsycho ) , who has almost every head Granado has issued--and most now with custom elf ears. For some reason Granado heads just look awesome with elf ears. So here is Mr. Jaden with the ears in progress: And here is he painted-- and oh so cute!! What a difference from the rather depressed-looking guy who was here! He has a new and charming personality and a ton of skin detail. I'm so happy he found a good home!

We went to the Spirit of Halloween this weekend--we go every year and buy socks, shirts and decos that we use the rest of the year, without irony. This guy fascinated me because he's partly articulated--his jaw and wings move. Never mind the hilariously weird anatomy, he's just cool. Because the weather is nice, I have been trying to get things painted--I blocked out the beginning of Consuelo's spots (she looks amused) That little Resinsoul body is just the most awesome thing to pose: And I painted up my Granado Jaden head. I did an ok job, but that sculpt is drop-dead gorgeous--if I was really skillful he would be amazing . He's a big head so he fits well on the Old Soom Body (here an old Euclase body), but he would also work on the New Soom Body. He fit on my Impldoll Star but the body was so beefy it didn't really match his smooth, elegant head. I think he'd even fit on a Loongsoul body if their NS is even close to his (he's Normal Pink). I kind of...

Claudia (Granado Venus) all painted up, Bartholomew (Granado Jaden), who will take over Benny's Claw foot Euclase body since Bart has a good neck hole. He's a big head, which is why he isn't on my old Impldoll Star boy body I had laying around. Instead the underloved Soom Puss (Still named Puss at the moment) is sitting on that body, waiting most likely for a Granado Lads body late in the fall: Puss could also use some hair and custom eyes, as his eyes are two different sizes (!). And Scilla (Iplehouse Asa) now has her own custom eyes..they might be a bit small so I may make her a couple more pairs. Gradually everyone here is ending up with the eyes that I make, because they fit and they are the right color, no matter how blobbly they are in the back. Then there is William Tyler, the Scourge of the 17th Century Seas, or more likely of the local tailors and hairdressers. He's getting some Cavalier stuff eventually, and probably Puss as a sidekick. If you are a Den of Angels member, solarsenshi is selling a gorgeous Granado Jaden head here . She's asking basically her cost plus shipping, for a very limited, sold out head. The new Granado NS is a translucent Normal Pink and if you want a matching body for the head, I would recommend getting one at the next body ordering period at Granado; the sale runs Dec 1st through the 3rd, mainland China time. (Granado has a handy clock in the corner of their website front page to keep track of their current time). I would be all over this head if I hadn't just brought home a Galena and a Dia, because Things seem to Happen to the molds at Granado--which is why I don't have a Granado Taya here. Sigh.
