This is left over from the posing photos I took earlier this week--there is Ivy the NYID, Doria the EID (I bought her when she became a Standard), and Rebecca from Doll Choice on the SID body. Doria actually has a smallish face, so I took her and swapped bodies with Rebecca...and Rebecca looks great on her "natural" body (she has kind of a big head): Yes that is a Christmas tree back there. Don't judge me. Here is Doria, looking great on the SID body (her head is a little big for the NYID, I did try it): This means that their wardrobes need to be switched around also, but I am OK with that--most of Bex's pile of things are stretchy, and poor Doria has only one dress. I spent most of today mowing my lawn, my neighbor's lawn, and part of the back ..with a push mower; almost an acre, so it took about 4 hours-- and I can tell I will feel it tomorrow. But we went out to the Cedar Grill for dinner, and then to Target, where they had a Our Generation 50's...

Since I did a series with Luna the EID, I thought it would be fun to do a posing series with Ivy the NYID. Ivy is an Iplehouse Eva, and she is normally sold on the Senior Iplehouse Body (SID), but I think her previous owner bought her through Doll Choice, or as a Special (Ivy is Realskin) and Iplehouse  put her on the NYID body instead. It's a very successful combination, and I think the first owner would have kept her except that somehow she turned very green in spots (you can see the difference between her shins and her feet--the previous owner just had her in heel feet.). Since here Ivy is an elf, green is awesome! I do need to blush those feet olive to match. She is also very, very loose, so I wasn't sure she would hold poses at all. I am happy to say I was wrong. :D (This one is a slight cheat, she is leaning against the board, and I didn't notice until I went to move her). No one is touching their toes here, either--the Iple girls are just not design...

So I have been trying to sell this Garnet head on the Den of Angels MP, without much success, and this means that EVERY DAY I had to be on the MP to push up the listing, which meant that I was looking at what other people had to sell. :P And I found an amazing deal on an Iplehouse Eva--who was not only a great price, but she was in Realskin (a gorgeous color) and on the NYID curvy small body, which I also like a lot, in spite of the noisy hip ratchets. Her first owner was a super nice seller in Seoul with a great reputation--and the best part? She had been kept in a sunny room, and her color had gone from pinky-brown to greenish olive on her legs and forearms, which was why she was marked down so much. (The new Iplehouse realskin is much less sensitive to light than the first batches were).
