As part of a trade with Angela_Valentine , I received some Soom flat feet and some heel feet! I was so happy to get them, as Tesla has been wearing some Impldoll old Star Man feet, which made her stand very securely, but also limited what she could wear for shoes. Now she can wear cute heels! Also, Admiral Pickering can now have some human feet--the Impldoll feet fit the Soom body he's on. He's been on the Euclase body, with talons instead of feet; and while the talons are impressive, having giant parrot feet means that putting on trousers is very difficult. So now Pickering can wear pants again, and to celebrate I threw together some underwear to keep him decent until I get around to making his real clothing.

Progress continues on the crew of the Artemis, though we have still a cravat and hat shortage (stocking, too) Not shown: the ship's surgeon was missing her head (I think it's in a small box downstairs, but I haven't looked yet), the Master Gunner and the Carpenter also have no clothes, the Purser and the clerk are also in modern stuff and have no idea what is in store for them. Alec (the older guy on the right) will be keeping this body, but with more dignified clothing. As usual, Valentine (Harlequin) has too big a head for this body. Luckily I have an old Angelheim Elder body he fits on, though he has been time-sharing with the Loongsoul Ken head.

J took out the trash cans this morning and came in to tell me that the pond filter was on it's side again..due to turtles or raccoons-- or as I suspect, changes in water pressure that push the stupid filter off it's rock. It has a side diverter from the fountain so you can adjust how big you want the fountain, but the plug piece is somewhere on the bottom of the pond from an earlier raccoon/turtle/chupacabra encounter, so the filter has a tendency to want to jet around the pond unless I set a boulder on it. So I stagger out to the pond (it's 7 AM, when decent people should be sound asleep) and J reminds me as I reach into the water to retrieve the filter to be careful of turtles. My opinion is: if a turtle, (or a Kraken, for that matter,) wants to argue with me before coffee, while I paddle around in a lukewarm, fishy pond at an un...

It's hard to find any doll heads of people over 20 years old..but Steinsculpture took up the challenge and made Alec; and since I like Liz's sculpture, I bought him. He's going to be an Admiral here, so I can make a more accurate costume but at a fraction of the price of the full sized one. This is Lord Admiral Thos. Pickering stuffed into various bits and pieces until I can sew him his "real" clothes.
