Turtle Wax, Cars and Cake
It is now time to have my car go through Illinois State Inspection again, and I craftily thought that if I got some primer and paint from Home Depot, the car would look more likely to pass. I probably should have done a couple more coats of the spray paint, but I got tired of breathing through my NIOSH respirator, and after doing some strokes to make it look vaguely like the decal on a Pontiac Firebird, I called it a day. However, the new paint had a lot more glitter in it than the old can did, so I wanted to do something to sort of glue it together and make it a bit more water-resistant, and be a flexible final coat instead of a brittle finish. So I went out and got a can of Turtle Wax.
