Sicktress painted this lace "henna" tattoo, then sent me the body for Anastasia--the body is bronze, not dark tan, but Sicktress had blushed the neck darker and it looks so nice ! Thank you Sicktress! (I should take a closeup of it, it's so detailed!) I painted up my Angelsdoll Evan this weekend, so now Davy has a face: I used Purity Seal on him since he is tan, and I was very happy with the Seal but it did pull out some of the detailed hairs I put in his eyebrows, so I will have to put them back in later this week. But the Seal doesn't fog as much as Mister Super Clear does. (That is a BlueBlood Doll shirt on him). I went over to visit Akutenshi on Saturday--everyone over there is so well dressed and displayed. This is her "Raver Dryad" Willow, A Fairyland Minifee Luka, and here is Evamelli, a Sueve/ Adamelli hybrid: It was so much fun! I love visiting and seeing what's new. And finally a reminder to myself--I need more pants hangars ...

Just some filler pix of Artemisia while I figure out how to use my new camera--I left my old one at Mitsuwa and Akutenshi rescued it. She brought back the MOST GLORIOUS COPPER-HILTED RAPIER ever from Dollism, one of those Dollmore limiteds...and gave it to me. I am extremely spoiled. We won't even mention the custom wigs or the knitted shawl :D So more photos tomorrow in daylight.

Had some torrential rain last night, and instantly got a carpet-o-petals this morning. Artemisia wants to know who will sweep it all up (it certainly won't be her). :D Also a casualty, the same tulips that had the snow piled on them--poor things!

Now I knew when I moved here that Chicago was reputed to have bad weather, but really. It's April 29th and we have had rain, snain, apocalyptic rain, rain with hail the size of peas, and lightning. Today. I was going to take a walk this afternoon. I do have plenty of work to do, and I got the foot pedal from the sewing supply company for the Kenmore! Looks legit. :D It plugged in perfectly, the light came on, and IT RUNS. Two speeds, too! I will wind a couple of bobbins this afternoon and read how to thread it. I also found another picture from Sunday's photo session, with Belle the Amphibel and Artemisia. It looks like Belle should be holding a plastic cup with a jello shot or something.
