Some Cute Mini Tools From My Generation

Image
These are really msd sized--I got them at Target and they are a tad small for SD dolls, especially the new bigger ones that are 65 cm and up. Here is Rain, now on a Soom Super Gem 2016 body, so he's taller now than before, and the paint can is more like a pint can. But the lid comes off and there is "paint" inside :D The only downside of upsizing Rain is that his pants pop open when he sits down-- so I need to make him some new ones. Otherwise that IOS resin matches the Soom resin perfectly! (There was a plastic birdhouse in the set as well, and I didn't keep it--I have seen wooden ones at JoAnns and Michael's that looked much better and were in scale.)

Natasha Romanova at Target

She's your standard 11.5 inch bends- at- the- hips- and- shoulders kind of figure, and she's got a really basic paint job--but she is there at last! She stands like a boss, too! Here is the outside of the box, a little blurry from being taken at night: And here is the sku on the box (not the Target sku): Maybe Hasbro has figured out we buy action figures too :D

Worst Bun Ever, Door Pie and Wall Swans

K and I went to a local pancake place that turned out to be a stealth Greek diner. So we both got "Greek" entrees and those were pretty good (a good gyro, and a chicken breast with feta cheese and leafy greens). The sides were pretty dire, including these buns that looked like  refugees from an airline supply place; not only were they nasty when they emerged from the factory, they had become stale over the period of weeks or months they were entombed in plastic. I have to say the baked goods in the case looked good (and local) and they had some stellar looking gelato off to the side. I might go back since it's so close, they are open late and they serve breakfast all day; a meal that is hard to ruin. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, though. I didn't try the coffee. From there we went to Target, and they are full of Christmas toys--all the My Generation props work with SD dolls, and there were so many cute food items I was overwhelmed and bought none o...

3 Maids in A Row, And Retro Food at Target..for SDs

This is left over from the posing photos I took earlier this week--there is Ivy the NYID, Doria the EID (I bought her when she became a Standard), and Rebecca from Doll Choice on the SID body. Doria actually has a smallish face, so I took her and swapped bodies with Rebecca...and Rebecca looks great on her "natural" body (she has kind of a big head): Yes that is a Christmas tree back there. Don't judge me. Here is Doria, looking great on the SID body (her head is a little big for the NYID, I did try it): This means that their wardrobes need to be switched around also, but I am OK with that--most of Bex's pile of things are stretchy, and poor Doria has only one dress. I spent most of today mowing my lawn, my neighbor's lawn, and part of the back ..with a push mower; almost an acre, so it took about 4 hours-- and I can tell I will feel it tomorrow. But we went out to the Cedar Grill for dinner, and then to Target, where they had a Our Generation 50's...
