Akutenshi7 came over today and brought me Kona coffee, organized my clothing bins and presented my dolls with this wonderful little book. (Josiah Aldwood, Victorian Gentleman and the proud new owner of the DollHeart cravat; is currently holding the Book.) A close reading of the cover is pretty amusing--it says: (Flourish with crown) "Write Down Your Wish This magic book is gonna help you (ornate medallion) MAGIC SPELLS Purebook (end ornate medallion) Precious Memories Linenote, Idea, Memo, Daybook Since 1981 Tradition Notebook (flourish) Well, that seems to cover everything. It's blank inside so Teodor can add his own Greek scribbles and diagrams. I need to make more of these little books!

I was cruising for Mr. Ropuha photos (he's the adorable toad up there, created by Whispering Grass) and I found this great photo on "Mary's" flickr . Not surprisingly her Flickr is full of cute stuff, and worth a visit. I like that she painted or made realistic toad eyes for this guy, it gives him a lot of dignity.

It turns out that my sketch was larger than the wing (since I traced around it) so I ended up doing it slightly differently. I'm going to have the sock problem, I know, where one wing gets done and the other one is a drag.
