Here's the intro to the My Dolly Adventures interview: INTERVIEW WITH GRANADO Last month of the year, means a new interview! First of all, let me whine of how fast time goes,  as this December,  my blog is hitting 5 years!  I cannot believe it!! 5 years of dolls and blogging,  amazing!! Granado is working on a new head--looks a lot like Tom Hiddleston! I found pix of him on their Flickr and I also discovered they have an Instagram , with more pix than just dolls. Lots of fun :D

I know Ilsonya has had the news up for at least a week, but Granado has come out, partly in honor of a upcoming new member of Crocus Lee's family, and partly for a Valentine to his wife, with a new girl body. It's smaller than the Nuevo body at around 60 cm (Delf sized, more or less) and it has a couple of intriguing things about it. For one thing, the heel feet are in one piece with the leg, making ankle stability not a problem. How they are attached at the knee is another question--I sort of hope they are attached with simple S hooks and not some Volks contraptions. The mobility thigh cut is gone, which means that the leg stringing may be internal like Iplehouse instead of ending at the hip. There is a little shelf at the top of the leg (not visible in this photo, but if you go here: Granado Main Page you can see her in all her Not Safe For Work glory, and see the edge that will add still more to her ability to stand securely. Every now and then someone asks to see all the dolls I have here. In theory it sounds like a fun idea, in practice, it's not so fun. Most of my dolls are stored wrapped in their boxes, put away under beds and in closets. I have to find their clothes and their wigs, and as I add dolls to the table, the cats inch closer and closer. There also becomes the real possibility that if just one doll goes over, the whole pack will collapse in knees and elbows and broken fingers. So this was all I was able to get together before I ran out of patience, and my avatar fell over:D. From left to right: A.
