See that cute little mermaid on the left? She is a quite rare Domuya Aria, and I think when she was new she also shipped with some human lower legs. I also think that Domuya used the normal upper msd thighs on her and then added the tail...but the problem is, Domuya closed up shop a couple of years ago and I have no idea how popular their msd sizes were, because I never looked at them. Domuya was based in Singapore and I think sold much or most of their dolls to Hong Kong and mainland China before the husband-and wife owners split and dissolved the company. So it's a long shot to ask if anyone has extra legs or even an extra girl body they would be willing to part with. Aria here is the Domuya NS, which is pretty pale compared to most current NS mixes. (she is next to an NS 2006 Delf boy body). Anyway, contact me on tumblr or Den of Angels if you do have something--I'm "fishcake" there too.

I was walking around the house, cleaning up and absent-mindedly squeaking Squeaky The Rubber Rat, and Stripey was racing along behind me like this 0_o. So J took Squeaky and set her on the back of the couch, and wiggled the rat. This was even more perplexing for poor Stripey: "It doesn't smell like anything!" ("Better poke it to be sure"). We did a few other things yesterday, including ordering the table saw that might be used to put down floor in the living room eventually, and also we went to JoAnns, where I was planning on getting a coat pattern and some fabric. Alas, there came an announcement over the PA that JoAnns was unable at the moment to process anything but cash at this time, which meant I just got the cheaper pattern and no fabric. The cause of the credit problem? "Solar flares".

We went to dinner in Downers Grove and there it was. That is the Weinermobile behind it, too.

I finally found ice cube trays. We had gone to Tuesday Morning, a odd-lot store that has a ton of kitchen things at discount prices, and even they didn't have a single tray, not even novelty ones. I was starting to think the only people that still carried ice cube trays were the "novelty" stores, and I would have to drink next summer's ice tea with little penises bobbing around in them. But the manager at Tuesday Morning said that while she hadn't been able to find any for her store, Dollar Tree had "lots" ("and for a dollar!"). So we drove over there and not only did they have standard cube trays, they had novelty Halloween ones. For a dollar. I also picked up another Squeaky the Rat since the last Squeaky went to live with catcara , though in return she sent me the Flocked Spider of Awesomeness. I shall send her the Novelty Ice Tray for this season. We also found a pumpkin at Trader Joes, and some pumpkin bars: And while we were out yester...
