Low Water


The DuPage river in Naperville is so low and clear that you can see the fish. This is a bluegill--I had to up the contrast in Photoshop so you can see it's colors, so it's a little grainy. The river is surprisingly clean--I did see a phone and a blinker barricade, but mostly it's just stream bed, and here some carp:

I suspect like everything else in Naperville, it gets cleaned.

The ducks are everywhere, too, which makes it difficult for fishermen to fish.

We could really use less ducks and more rain right now.
