Went to Google map street view and sorta found the new address - you could see if lower rent was maybe an issue, but it looks like a nice neighborhood. No street view of the building; it appears to be on or very near

Ooo, you were more enterprising than I was! A few years ago I tried to match their address with a Google satellite photo and all I could find was a vacant lot behind a junkyard, which I was pretty sure was wrong :D
DeleteIf you want, you could try again. When we needed AAA help in Oxnard a couple of years ago, we couldn't' give them any clues to our location, other than it was a park and ride lot. (I get lost in Oxnard every time I go there.) When they got there, they told us where we were. and when I got home, I Googled it. The picture was of a decrepit house - it had been taken 3 years earlier.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I am glad they figured it out! K once was with friends and broke down at night after a convention and the only landmark was a sign (a big one) that said PUB. We did manage to track it down with regular Google and google maps. Luckily there was a carload of them so they stayed entertained while they waited!
