Peak Arboretum and Cornish Pasties
Going to the Morton Arboretum on Labor Day probably wasn't the best idea,(it was hard to find a parking spot, though we got lucky because we came later in the day). But this time of year, right before the leaves turn, is a gorgeous time to go. There were bees everywhere busy saving up pollen and the last bloom of summer was in full swing. I should have taken more photos, but I was busy looking and walking--the arboretum has new, softer bark paths that are nice to walk on but not great if you have a wheelchair or a cane. But I did take a few photos:
