It's very cheery and French and quite possibly not Naomi's style (Naomi is an Elfdoll Vivian that belongs to Sicktress, and seems to be a kick-ass Japanese demon, but I am not sure) Anyway, Naomi is quite naked at the moment and I had a lot of fun making this, and I might make her some more stuff. (It's hard to be scary with no pants, I think). Two more pictures:

Yes, it's a Souldoll Junia and she has 4 arms--she really should have two more-- because right now she is Junia Bug, but adorable all the same. Best of all, no creepy spider body, just regular human legs. You can also just get the normal 2 arms in the "Junia Human" form, but I like the little teef. She has horns (it's a little hard to see in this photo), she is MSD sized at 48 cm tall, she wears 8mm eyes, and you can get her dress, shoes and a scythe. For a doll that size, she has really beautiful details and hands. The company is new to me, but the sculptor sounds familiar--I wonder if Vermont Chick (who does the As the Resin World Turns blog) would know something about the sculptor--the name is Park Tae-Wong, and I need to look around and see if maybe they do Soom things as well. I was on Alice's Collections to look at a 69cm  Loongsoul Fairy, the Cuckoo Fairy : Since she was on sale, and Girrl assured me that she would be cast and shipped in my lifetime, I asked for her for my birthday. I got the wig (I am not sure if the fancy upper part is included) and the faceup.  I also got body blushing, which I may regret since the sample they show in Doll Parts is really, reallly pink..but if it's way too much, I might be able to tone it down with some gold powder. I need to redo the cup pattern, since once the top hem is in, there isn't enough fabric to cover her--so trim to the rescue! more beads, trim and lacings in the back will happen next. We went to the Fox Hills Mall on Saturday, and wandered around the upper level of Round1. It looks like something designed by Ridley Scott and sounds like you are inside a pinball machine with Dolby Sound. It's great. If I was going to play I would bring earplugs. This is the test pattern; and I will show you how I get these done--I start out with the doll and some tape and Kleenex: I use tape to mold around the figure, taping over the Kleenex so the tape sticks to the body in just a few tiny places (enough to hold it on, barely). I only do one side so I can peel it off without using scissors. The pattern pieces can be flipped over to make both the left and right sides at the end. Once I cover the areas I want, I take a pen and mark where I will cut, and I make notes on what the different pieces go to, like Center Front, Center Back, Side etc.. Also I write what doll it is for :D I am trying to break the pattern apart in the places that will be the "curviest" so I will end up with a flat pattern. Peel off your proto-pattern carefully... Sicktress' Mirodoll Muscle Body Part One ------ Okay, today I redid the string so it has the knot in the torso, and not coming out of the neck, and I investigated some clothes. The pants she is wearing are from doll.i.com according to the tag, and they fit perfectly. She is more or less SID sized, though it looks like she can wear those older Delf boy pants. I think her shoulders are a little wider, though. The shirt she has on used to belong to a bear, so it doesn't count, but EID shirts fit her fine, though a little loose in the waist. She actually has the PERFECT body for corsets, and though I hadn't thought of a snow goddess wearing an 18th century corset, I think I will make her one anyway. I think her shoes are somewhat similar to the Soom male feet in size--it's a pretty sculpt, one of my favorites out of the other girls I will put up here for comparison.
