Scott Radke

I saw an ad in Juxtapose for a gallery in Long Island's September show; it's the Haven Gallery and it looks like a lot of fun. I was so impressed with Scott Radke's pieces, I kind of want one. :D They are cool and creepy and very lively looking. Here is more:

You really must see the back of this bat guy--he has a friend and they are fruit bat sizes and the photos are fabulous. Also there is a lot more art on Radke's site--I found it really hard to navigate and the art pieces' titles are hidden in the upper right hand corner, so you have to mouse around and click arrows. It's worth the work-- but I wish there were instead thumbnails on a single page to click on.

Cat says he uses La Doll for the heads and details. I think he uses a little magic in there too.
