Geminids on Friday Night/ Early Saturday

The Geminids are the only meteor shower that I have gotten up early to watch, and it was worth sitting around in the cold to see. Not that it was really "a shower" the year that we watched them, but there was one about every five minutes, and we had dragged the folding mattress out from the couch and put it on the porch, and sat under a down blanket, which made the whole experience a lot more pleasant. They won't be as big and bright as the picture promises, and I am guessing the best time to see them will be on early Saturday morning between 4 and five o'clock--but not in Chicago, where the forecast is for snow, and plenty of it.
