Rain in Snow
It should surprise no one that Chicago is cold in the winter, but I was a little alarmed that it was three degrees at the bottom of the temperature curve last night. Akutenshi, who is a native Chicagoan, said that while that wasn't unusual, it *was* early. It may be a long winter :D. On the other hand, there is plenty to do inside. I did go out for a few minutes to swap thermometers around (the one on the pergola I couldn't read from inside), and since Rain was out on the worktable, I took him for a few (very few) snow photos. In character Rain doesn't mind the cold at all; he'd be out hunting rabbits and squirrels--which have left tiny footprints all over the yard.
