Recasting in Porcelain

I never thought that porcelain artists would bother to recast a resin design, but apparently someone is trying just that. Short blog article by Marie Zeligen from Medium (sort of an aggregator of articles on various topics)

(That is my Gneiss up there from Soom, her sculpt is one of the "recast" examples in the article).
The goofy part about doing that is that the porcelain world overlaps the bjd world, so recasts are easily spotted--and porcelain needs different shapes than resin to be sturdy. Also the aesthetic is just different IMO. But it's something to watch out for as porcelains are so fiercely expensive (which is why I don't have any).
