Deirdre Gardening

Among other things today, I took Dee out for photos--I was hoping to get a good picture of a bumblebee, but they were shy and uncooperative, so I went and found my Granado Fayette, painted by Francesca, who holds perfectly still. Most of the time.

After I was done taking the photo below, I looked down... and realized that there was a bumblebee napping on my knee. Of course by the time I picked up my camera again and turned it on, it flew off. I'm hoping when the phlox has flowers I will get good bee photos, as they like to sit for longer times on the phlox flowers.

I also went to the Oakbrook mall, a bookstore and Ted's Montana Grill, so it was a full day.
