Flea Market Finds

It's a little Italian jewelry box from the Kane County Flea Market! The weather was glorious and we met up with Akutenshi7 at the cowhides. I should have taken a picture, but I forgot that the cowhides are not a normal Flea Market item in most part of the country. I was more amazed at the Pre-Columbian Pottery special:

Also there was a booth that we totally agreed with:

But the chest was the best thing--here it is with the Craft Store That Will Not Be Named chest:

For the larger dolls, it is a little short:

But the drawers open fine and the inside was nice and clean:

Altogether it's a very fine chest!

  1. Hello,
I'm this person who received an Impldoll Azalea who can only stand and lie down and who can't sit at all. It's a long time passed since you asked me to take some photos from re-stringing Azalea, but it's still not possible. My doll is still at the artist who said she will fix Azalea, but my doll still isn't re-string by this artist. So, my Azalea still can only stand and lie down. Really depressing... Have a nice day~~!

    1. Oh, that does sound depressing--and like you need to find someone else to string her; sometimes artists get really busy--but how disappointing! Have you thought about selling her and replacing her with something else?

  2. I believe this artist will manage to string my doll at last... but I don't know how long will it take her to make it. I only wanted to make you know that it's still impossible to take pics from stringing Azalea.
No, I didn't think about selling Azalea because she's absolutely perfect for OC from my novel, so I'm going to wait as long as it's possible to fix her. And today I've got the message from Impl who said they manage to make completely new legs, so they are going to send me these new legs, but I must pay shipping cost. So, I paid almost 500 USD for the doll who can't sit, but now I must pay another shipping cost for her new legs - as it would be my fault that she can't sit. Well... heh, what can I say more? And sorry my rather imperfect English^^

  3. I'm not sure when all this mess will have the end, but I must strongly believe that my doll will sit down one day (LOL, I know how does it sounds^^)
But I like her that much that I'm going to wait. At first, I wanted to give her as a gifr for someone, but after I saw Azalea in person, I found her as the best bjd for my OC, so I bought sth else as a gift and Azalea stayed with me. BTW, Impl said I must paid 38 USD as shipping fee, so it's not that bad!

    1. 38.00 is not too bad--I hope these new legs work! I wonder if they are sending you the ones with the mobility thigh? Those look great. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
