    I saw Chia seeds for sale as salad sprouts at Trader Joes and the cashier said "Isn't it sad, when I was a kid those were for Chia pets. Now we're eating them. This economy sucks." >.<;;

    1. I thought about that too..but they aren't cheap so I am guessing it's just somebody taking a marginal crop and trying to make it glamorous. It worked with kiwi fruit :D

  3. Yes but--Kiwi fruits IS glamorous! I mean huge green strawberry watermellons? I'll have too look up and see if it's at least soil resetting crop. It might make a good ground cover for a backyard that's mostly dusty clay and dead sand.
    Do you find yourself planning and arranging your garden for BJD photography?

    1. Yes, but the plants often have other ideas :D But this yard is pretty much all about the cat and the dolls! Well, that.. and what can survive down to -15 F.
